Job summary
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a skilled automotive technician to service delivery vans at client sites. You will perform oil changes, tire services, inspections, diagnostics, and maintenance, with opportunities to learn advanced repairs and state inspections.
Starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour with a $1 shift differential. A 4-day or 5-day work week option and on-site work at Patchogue, NY are available, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- ASE Certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Servicing delivery vans for scheduled preventative maintenance at a client site
- Perform line technician services such as oil changes and tire services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, and tire installation
- Learn/train to do advanced repairs and state inspections
- Training for this role may take place in a customer retail environment prior to working on the client site
