Job summary

Cumberland Dairy, a DFA Company, seeks a Utility Technician to support plant boilers, chillers, air compressors, and wastewater systems on a 12-hour rotating schedule. The role involves installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment, with a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 4 years of maintenance experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, PLC and HVAC or related systems.
• Valid Black Seal Operators License for boilers (NJ Blue Seal preferred).
• Ability to read charts, blueprints, tables and schematics.
• Able to perform maintenance and repairs independently and on more complex tasks.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards and environmental regulations.
• Must read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain boilers, chillers, air compressors, and wastewater systems to minimize downtime.
• Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery used in production.
• Follow safety procedures and comply with OSHA/ EPA standards.
