Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. invites applications for a Technician at the Animal Health facility in Worthington, Minnesota. The site is expanding to manufacture vaccines for large and companion animals, using biologics production, fermentation, and filling/freeze-drying.

You will assist in preparing intermediate components (media solutions, seed stocks, bacterial antigens) and downstream processing. This is a 3rd shift role, Sunday–Thursday, 11:00/11:30PM–7:30/8:00AM, with overtime and some weekends after

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Biology/Microbiology or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare media, operate fermentation vessels, and perform cleaning/disinfecting of equipment and laboratories.
• Work in a clean, aseptic environment (cleanroom).
• Follow Written SOPs and Outlines of Production.
• Complete and review documentation for accuracy and CGMP compliance.
