Job summary

Crittenton Children's Center, part of Saint Luke's Health System in Kansas City, MO, is hiring a full-time Behavioral Health Tech for night shift (7:00 pm–7:30 am). You will support a therapeutic milieu and assist with patient care on a busy pediatric behavioral health unit.

The role requires a related degree and/or 1–3 years of experience with youth, plus a driving record suitable for campus duties and computer skills. 36 hours weekly with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or 1–3 years of related experience, preferably with at risk youth.
• Clean driving record and ability to drive as needed.
• Computer skills and basic clinical certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing a safe and therapeutic milieu for all patients following policies.
• Observes and records patient behaviors under RN supervision.
• Implements behavioral interventions described in the treatment plan.
• Conducts educational and treatment-focused groups with patients as appropriate.
• May be trained as CMT to administer medications for long-term residential population.
