Job summary

Signet Health Corp. is seeking a Nurse Supervisor for Nightshift (7pm–7am) at Permian Basin Behavioral Health Center in Midland, TX.

You will provide operational, clinical, and administrative leadership for inpatient units, ensuring trauma‑informed, recovery‑oriented nursing care and compliance with DNV, CMS, and HHSC rules. Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• Current Texas RN license (unencumbered) is required.
• BLS certification required; SAMA or equivalent behavioral health de-escalation certification required or obtained shortly after hire.
• Minimum 5 years of acute psychiatric/behavioral health nursing experience.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience (Charge RN, Nurse Supervisor, Nurse Manager).
• Experience in a DNV-accredited or Joint Commission-accredited facility strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of suicide prevention protocols, observation levels, restraint/seclusion regulations, and trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day nursing operations for assigned behavioral health units.
• Ensure adequate nurse and BHT/MHT staffing levels aligned with acuity and Texas staffing regulations.
• Round on units multiple times daily to ensure clinical care standards and safety.
• Serve as a resource to charge nurses for decision-making and escalation.
• Monitor performance indicators and patient safety metrics.
• Lead unit-level DNV readiness activities and quality reviews.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff and provide ongoing education.
