Job summary
Publix Super Markets in Georgia is seeking an Industrial Maintenance technician to perform preventative maintenance on powered industrial equipment batteries and assist in other duties. You will follow safety rules, inspect and service batteries, and help ensure reliable operation in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred candidates may hold an Industrial Maintenance associate, have a valid driver's license, and be able to lift 40 pounds.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama)
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
- Ability to obtain certification and operate powered industrial equipment
- Ability to read, write, and solve math problems
- Complete required tests before start date
- Interpret and follow instructions precisely
- Experience with computerized maintenance records
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to advance
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on powered industrial equipment batteries according to policy and regulations
- Repair manuals and specifications following own knowledge
- Assist in other duties as assigned
