Role involves operating the bander and related equipment, ensuring proper packaging, tag placement, barcoding, and maintaining production schedules. A high school diploma or GED is required; corrugated industry experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
• Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement and rate.
• Ability to apply concepts of high school math.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form.

Aufgaben

• Operate the bander and related equipment with proper setup and wrapping.
• Ensure correct placement of unit tags and cover sheets and proper stacking patterns.
• Scan barcodes on units going through bander.
• Create neat units with correct number of bands on each unit.
• Maximize equipment utilization at available capacity and speed.
• Complete reports (Production Data, Machine Status, Safety Data, Quality Data).
• Adhere to production schedule and suggest scheduling improvements.
• Follow all company policies and maintain good housekeeping.
