Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a night shift operator at our Gallatin, TN facility to run pallet centering and banding equipment, monitor quality, and support packaging lines. The role requires adapting to a manufacturing environment, extreme temperatures, and heavy forklift traffic.

The position offers a 3rd shift (11:00pm-7:00am Sun night - Friday morning) with a starting pay of $22.90 per hour, plus benefits and 401(k) participation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime on short notice.
• Able to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temps, around machinery, and heavy forklift traffic.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate pallet centering device and banding equipment.
• Input/retrieve information from the system with basic computer functions.
• Maintain safe, neat work area and follow safety rules.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with maintenance for repairs.
• Monitor output quality and report issues to supervisor.
• Possibly obtain and maintain forklift license.
• Perform other duties as needed.
