Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Bread Production Team Member for the 6:00 pm - 2:10 am shift. You will work with teammates to meet production goals while upholding strict food safety, freshness, and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include scaling recipes, following prep lists, maintaining clean, stocked coolers, and documenting HACCP/FSMA compliance. Must be 18+, capable of lifting 50 lbs, and able to work rotating nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and speak basic English.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Able to work well with others, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with little supervision.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Average shifts are 8 hours long.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bakery products according to recipes (scaling).
• Follow daily prep lists and job assignments.
• Follow through on all Team Leader and Supervisor instructions and requests.
• Ensure coolers and shelves are clean, stocked, and rotated.
• Follow food safety, cleaning procedures and equipment maintenance.
• Read, understand, and follow daily distribution sheets.
• Monitor, document, and control product transfers, waste, and spoilage.
• Maintain documentation such as HACCP/FSMA.
• Monitor safety of equipment and report issues.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
• Use knives, PPE, hand trucks, balers and other equipment properly.
• Arrive on time and complete required trainings.
