Goodyear - Automotive Technician

We are immediately hiring for an Automotive Technician at our Jericho, NY location. Apply today to join a leading tire and auto service company.

Position Details:
  • Starting Pay: $24-$26/hr
  • Location: 336 N Broadway, Jericho, NY 11753-2031
  • Shifts: 4-day work week (9PM-7AM) or 5-day work week (9PM-6AM)
Responsibilities:
  • Service delivery vans and DOT vehicles for scheduled preventative maintenance at a client site
  • Perform line technician services such as oil changes, tire services, inspections, diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges, and tire installation
  • Conduct advanced repairs and state inspections
  • Training may occur in a retail environment before working on client sites
Basic Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience with DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and brake services
  • DOT Brake Certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
  • Valid driver's license, meet DOT physical requirements, and be at least 21 years old
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • ASE Certification(s)
  • Experience diagnosing vehicles, performing road tests, electrical, A/C, and fuel system work
