Randstad USA in Mebane, NC is seeking a self-motivated Automation Technician for a climate-controlled, 237,000 sq ft facility. This night position runs 6:30 PM–7:00 AM on a 2:2:3 schedule, focusing on maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of conveyors, PLCs, robotics and packaging lines.

Minimum qualifications include a High School education and 5 years of hands-on experience in automated environments; strict safety standards (LOTO, NFPA 70E, OSHA) are required, with CMMS documentation

Qualifikationen

• Formal electrical education or hands-on experience with industrial power and control systems.
• Experience in highly automated facilities with conveyors, PLCs, robotics, packaging, ovens, or processing equipment.
• Able to work 3rd shift and lift heavy parts as needed.

Aufgaben

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on high-speed conveyors, PLC-controlled machinery, robotics, packaging lines, ovens, and processing equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults, control circuits, sensors, and mechanical failures to restore equipment quickly and safely.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify downtime causes, and implement corrective actions with the operations team.
• Adhere to safety protocols including LOTO, NFPA 70E, and OSHA standards.
• Complete maintenance logs in CMMS and handover with daytime maintenance teams.
