Job summary

URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. in Raymore, Missouri is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the night shift, responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of automated systems, conveyors, and facility equipment.

The role requires reliability, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment; duties include diagnosing mechanical/electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, reading schematics, and documenting work in CMMS.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with pneumatics and conveyor systems.
• Basic understanding of PLC and controls.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment (up to 480V).
• Maintain motors, VFDs, sensors, gearboxes, bearings, and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot automation systems (conveyors, sortation, ASRS, packaging equipment).
• Resolve jams, sensor faults, and minor electrical/pneumatic failures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system calibrations.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics; perform basic PLC/HMI diagnostics.
• Document work orders and maintenance activities in CMMS.
• Identify equipment issues and support continuous improvement and RCA efforts.
• Collaborate with team members, vendors, and support staff; assist junior technicians.
