Job summary

Roskam Foods, a Grand Rapids, MI-based contract manufacturer, is seeking a maintenance/automation technician to support electrical control systems for automated production lines. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance across multiple facilities.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year of related experience, and familiarity with PLCs; associate degree or related certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in maintenance or tech roles on automated production equipment.
• Familiarity with Rockwell PLCs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Basic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of automated control systems.
• Collaborate with maintenance, facilities, and vendors to resolve issues.
• Adhere to safety, GMP, and food safety regulations.
• Maintain familiarity with layout and equipment of one or two facilities.
• Document control system changes and problem resolutions.
