Job summary

Auto-Owners Insurance is seeking a motivated individual to join the Automated Mail team on a temporary third shift (12 am–8 am, M-F). After a 90-day trial, there may be a full-time opportunity.

The role involves operating automated mail machines and maintaining high-quality mail procedures. Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic mechanical and math aptitude, and comfort with computers.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and basic math aptitude.
• Ability to understand and carry out complex written or verbal requests.
• Familiar with computers and have a mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate all functions of the automated mail machines, including mechanical and computer systems.
• Understand priorities of all automated mail jobs and follow procedures for mailing with high quality.
• Make minor adjustments to equipment and interpret computer messages for machines.
• Communicate with service vendors and determine when service calls are necessary; document issues.
