Job summary

Horne Kia in Gilbert, AZ is seeking Automotive Technicians and Used Car Reconditioning Technicians for our evening reconditioning team. The night shift runs Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM, with Saturdays and Sundays OFF, in a high-volume shop environment built for productivity.

We welcome all experience levels—from Lube and General Service Technicians ready to advance to experienced A/B Level and Master Technicians.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year automotive technician experience required.
• 2+ years automotive technician experience preferred.
• Dealership experience is a plus, but NOT required.
• ASE Certifications preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and prepare used vehicles for retail.
• Perform used vehicle inspections and reconditioning.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns.
• Perform engine and drivability repairs.
• Brake system repairs.
• Steering and suspension repairs.
• Heating and air-conditioning repairs.
• Electrical diagnostics and repairs.
• Preventative maintenance.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Complete repairs accurately and efficiently.
• Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs.
• Communicate repair needs and estimated completion times.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
