Job summary
Goodyear is hiring a General Maintenance / Automotive Technician for the night shift in Patchogue, NY. This full-time role offers 4-day or 5-day options with 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM or 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM shifts.
Responsibilities include servicing delivery vans for preventive maintenance at client sites, performing oil changes, tire services, diagnostics, and brake repairs. Training may occur in a retail environment before client-site work.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
- Valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; ASE Certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Servicing delivery vans for scheduled preventative maintenance at a client site.
- Perform line technician services such as oil changes and tire services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, and tire installation.
- Learn/train to do advanced repairs and state inspections.
- Training for this role may take place in a customer retail environment prior to working on the client site.
