Pratt Industries, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Machine Operator for the 3rd shift at the Wapak Corrugator in Wapakoneta, OH. Starting pay is $18.98/hour plus shift differential, with potential increases in the first year based on performance and attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Prior experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
• 6 months’ experience as a Flexo or DieCut Helper is preferred.
• 6 months’ experience in the Press and Finishing Departments preferred.
• May be required to maintain a Lift Truck Operator License.

Responsibilities

• Set up slotting, feed, and die-cut sections on the machine using proper setup techniques.
• Assist the operator with other duties as needed.
• Monitor board quality and report issues to the operator.
• Work at the pace set by the machine operator.
• Cross-train on other machines and move up toward operator roles.
