Job summary

FEMA Corporation is seeking an entry-level Production Operator at its Michigan facility. You will work on teams assembling, testing and packaging hydraulic valves on production lines in a temperature-controlled environment.

No experience is required; after a 90-day orientation period, employees are eligible for benefits including health/dental/vision, 401K, disability, life insurance, paid holidays and vacation, educational assistance, and stock ownership (ESOP).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small components (with training).
• Stand for long periods up to 12 hours or sit up to 3 hours while operating machines or equipment.
• Use measuring tools including calipers, indicators, meters and gauges (with training).
• Read and interpret quality control charts (with training).
• Pack and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Operate hydraulic test systems (with training).
• Complete routine shop paperwork with basic math.
• Light machine maintenance (oiling, cleaning and setup) (with training).
• Use of loctites, epoxies and other manufacturing materials.
• Plus other assigned duties.
