The Portland Trail Blazers at the Rose Quarter is seeking a Conversion Event Set Up/Teardown Team member for the Graveyard Shift. The role involves overnight transformation of arenas for players, tours and guests, including converting spaces, moving equipment, and setting up stages and ice

Applicants must be 18+, able to work 10pm–6am, and able to lift up to 75 pounds. We offer a starting pay of $24.50 per hour, referral bonuses, discounted tickets, wellness programs, and more.

Qualifications

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• Able to work graveyard shifts (approx. 10pm-6am), including weekends and sometimes holidays.
• Flexible, event-based schedule to support business needs.
• Regular access to email for shift scheduling.
• Understand and communicate conversational English; follow verbal and written direction.
• Work as a team with people of different backgrounds and abilities.
• Stand and move on concrete floors for extended periods.
• Move and lift up to 75 pounds consistently for an 8-hour shift.
• Complete 95% of daily tasks through movement and lifting.
• Safe work habits and proper body mechanics when lifting or moving heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Converting the arena from one performance staging to the next (e.g., basketball court to stage).
• Moving and setting up sports equipment, chairs, tables, bleachers, and floor/stage gear.
• Assembling arenas in accordance with established routines.
• Using small hand tools as needed.
• Maintaining storage of equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Assisting in maintenance of conversion equipment.
• Making ice for up to 10 hours.
• Setting rooms for meetings and dressing rooms as needed.
• Locating and correcting problems to avoid fire/safety code violations.
