Job summary

Pennex is seeking a Press Team member in Ohio to operate and maintain an aluminum extrusion press, set up dies and tooling, and monitor production for quality. You will load materials, adjust controls, and document output while safeguarding safety and efficiency.

The role requires real-time inspection, routine maintenance, and accurate production records. Evening/night shifts with a $1.50 shift differential are expected, with potential 12-hour rotations as operations evolve.

Qualifications

• Experience operating extrusion press machines or similar manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and instructions.
• Familiarity with measuring tools and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Machine Setup: Install and adjust dies, molds, or tooling on the extrusion press.
• Material Preparation: Load billets and verify material meets quality specs.
• Machine Operation: Run the press, control production, and adjust speeds.
• Quality Control: Inspect parts in real time for defects and tolerances.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine care and troubleshoot issues.
