Job summary

Advanced Integration Technology, LP is seeking a tool assembler to support the Assembly department on the night shift. You will read and follow blueprints, move materials, assemble components, and perform quality checks to meet specifications.

The role requires basic welding/assembly skills, the ability to work safely, and overtime including weekends. A high school diploma or GED plus 6–12 months of related experience is expected.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 6–12 months related experience or training.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring devices.

Responsibilities

  • Read, understand, and follow advanced job order specifications, blueprints, work instructions and procedures.
  • Lifts, loads, sorts, and moves materials, supplies, and finished products between storage and work areas, using push-cart, hoist, or dolly.
  • Assemble components accurately, thoroughly and quickly to approved specifications
  • Operate equipment in a safe manner and uses safe work habits.
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and sub-assemblies with hand tools, power tools, or bench machines.
  • Inspects, tests, and verifies accuracy of assembled article for conformance to standards, using measuring or testing equipment, or by visual examination.
  • Adjusts, repairs, or replaces defective product parts, using hand tools, power tools, or bench machines.
  • Cleans dust, dirt, and other foreign matter from material or machine surfaces, using cleaning solution, rag, air hose.
  • Measures and marks reference lines and points on parts according to specifications, using template, rule, or marking device.
  • Cuts materials, such as fabric, metal, paper, or wood into specified dimensions or shapes, using cutting machine, scissors, or knife.
  • Rotate through multiple stations on a shift to ensure maximum alertness and preparation
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
