Job summary

MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) in Columbia, SC seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Heart Failure ICU night team. The role provides high-acuity inpatient care for complex cardiac disease with a focus on heart failure in the ICU.

This full-time night position offers collaboration with physicians, nurses, and the care team, excellent Epic EHR support, and access to MUSC Health’s renowned cardiac program.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with current APRN license.
• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a FNP, ANP, AGACNP, ACNP, or PA.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care in the ICU, inpatient units, and outpatient clinic.
• Managing and coordinating care for patients with acute and chronic heart failure.
• Evaluating new and established patients.
• Assisting with peer-to-peer approvals and care coordination.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to deliver patient-centered care.
