Job summary

Banner Health Corporate in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an Acute Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists by packaging, distributing, and recording pharmaceutical supplies. The role involves non-sterile compounding, inventory management, and assisting with training and customer service.

The overnight shift runs Thursday through Wednesday, 8pm–6:30am, with holiday rotations. An incentive of up to $2,500 is offered, plus a weekend differential and night shift premium where applicable.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician licensure or Pharmacy Intern licensure required.
• AZ Wallet Card at time of hire for AZ candidates.
• Proficient with pharmacy software and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Package and distribute medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Prepare non-sterile compounded medications.
• Maintain accurate medication records and inventory.
• Assist with training Peer Pharmacy Technicians and externs.
• Liaise between customers and pharmacist.
• Ensure compliance with USP guidelines and safety standards.
