Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is hiring an Acute Care RN Shift Supervisor at the Abilene State Supported Living Center. You will lead nursing care, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality patient outcomes in a state-run facility.

The role includes providing complex care, engaging with the interdisciplinary team, and maintaining records while supporting QA/QI initiatives. Night shifts may be required.

Competenze

• Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Texas.
• Two years of RN experience in a health-care facility preferred.
• Must obtain CPR certification and maintain licensure.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.

Mansioni

• Attend regular shifts, possibly rotating or extended; adhere to agency policies.
• Administer medications, monitor vitals, and respond to emergencies.
• Supervise and train LVN/RN staff as assigned by nurse manager.
• Document care and communicate with physicians, staff, and families.
