Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift in a full-time role. The RN will deliver direct patient care, monitor patients, and collaborate with physicians. A state RN license is required, with BSN preferred and BLS/ACLS certifications valued.

Qualifications

• Current valid State Registered Nurse License.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Maintain standards of care in the DOU and ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Communicate changes in patient’s condition to physicians, including hemodynamic monitoring and test results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and treatment response.
