Job summary

The Pavilion at Williamsburg Place in Williamsburg, VA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for night shifts to provide comprehensive nursing care. You will assess patients, develop individualized care plans, supervise LPNs/CNAs, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include accurate medication administration, detailed documentation, and patient-family education. CPR and psychiatric nursing experience are preferred; valid RN license required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
• One or more years of nursing experience in the clinical area served.
• Behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery experience preferred.
• Knowledge of psychotropic meds and med administration procedures.
• RN license valid in-state; CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop/execute individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications with two patient identifiers and document accurately.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team; communicate changes promptly.
• Monitor acuity and staffing; provide thorough hand-off reports.
