Job summary

Tradewind Aviation seeks a licensed A&P Aircraft Mechanic to support our Northeast base in Oxford, CT or White Plains, NY. The role covers airframe and powerplant maintenance on turboprop aircraft, emphasizing reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance.

You will troubleshoot engines and systems, read manuals, keep precise logs, and travel to partner locations as needed. Weekend/holiday work may be required; must lift 75 lbs and work in hangar or outdoors in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Licensed A&P certification required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and instructions.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to travel across the United States, Caribbean, and Canada as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform airframe and powerplant maintenance on our turboprop fleet to ensure reliability.
• Read, interpret, and apply technical manuals and procedures.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions with diagnostic equipment and perform repairs.
• Maintain accurate logs and FAA-compliant records.
