Job summary

TekniPlex in Van Wert, OH is hiring for a Night shift Production Operator I. This full-time, on-site position supports our packaging and manufacturing operations, operating machinery and ensuring smooth line performance.

You will monitor conveyors, inspect cartons for quality, log production data, perform basic maintenance, and follow safety procedures with required PPE. Shift runs 4:45pm–5:00am, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• No prior heavy machinery experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Monitor conveyor for proper alignment and orientation of egg cartons.
• Continuous monitoring of press for malfunctions, and make adjustments as needed to maintain consistent quality.
• Visually inspect cartons to ensure they meet quality standards, to include dimensional accuracy.
• Maintaining detailed production records, logging key parameters, and documenting quality issues.
• Performs basic machine maintenance and escalated any machine repairs needed.
• Adheres to safety procedures, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), and reporting potential hazards.
