Job summary

ACCESS, Inc. is seeking a Resident Services Specialist for the 3rd shift (11:00 pm–7:00 am) to help ensure safety and security for residents and the shelter premises. The role requires crisis management, strong communication, boundary setting, and reliable transportation.

The candidate will supervise residents, assist with daily activities, log shift notes, and follow agency procedures. This position emphasizes confidentiality and teamwork within a 10-person team.

Qualifications

• Mature, responsible individual with experience in social services.
• Excellent crisis management, listening, and communication skills.
• Able to maintain professional boundaries and resolve conflicts.
• Required: shift 11:00pm-7:00am; reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and security of residents and facility.
• Complete hourly building checks and document results.
• Intervene to protect residents per policy.
• Manage visitor log and emergency procedures.
• Supervise residents during shift and enforce handbook.
• Prepare daily logs and paperwork.
• Attend staff meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.
• Complete third shift tasks: scanning, shredding, cleaning, laundry, breakfast setup.
