Job summary

Signal of Central North Carolina is hiring a Full Time Security Guard. You will drive a company vehicle between properties, perform patrols, secure access points, respond to incidents, and document all shift activities.

Requirements include 21+, HS diploma or GED, valid NC driver’s license, clean driving record, background check and drug test. Weekend and overnight shifts required; Guard Card training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation and means of communication.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Possess NC Guard Card (training provided if necessary).
• Prior military, law enforcement, security or customer service experience preferred.
• Weekend and overnight shifts required.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly visible presence to deter crime and protect property.
• Foot and vehicle patrols across multiple sites.
• Secure doors, gates, and entry points; manage access control.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms; document events.
• Maintain equipment and build client relationships on site.
• Report shift activities clearly using company systems and posts.
