Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for full-time night shifts in Omaha, NE. You will perform unarmed rounds, deter incidents, and provide excellent service to tenants and staff while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, responding to alarms, and documenting activities. This role requires clear communication, professionalism, and adherence to site policies.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and professionally.
• Conduct routine unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, and perimeter to identify unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity; report unauthorized access.
• Document daily activities and incidents in logs and reports, communicating to leadership.
