Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, staff and residents in a professional, friendly manner.
• Relieve reception, answer and direct calls, and use overhead paging as required.
• Monitor surveillance equipment, inspect buildings and access points, and control entry.
• Record daily shift activity electronically and monitor security cameras.
• Respond to emergencies and provide necessary assistance to staff and residents.
• Provide access to staff, residents, families, vendors, and contractors as requested.
• Open dock doors for movement of furniture and supplies; perform or assist with fire drills and safety functions.
• Conduct security inspections and report incidents; patrol and ensure exterior doors are secure.
