Job summary

Security Officer position with Securitas in Springfield, MO. Full-time graveyard shift 2000-0800, 32 hours/week, Mon-Thu. Responsibilities include access control, patrolling, incident reporting, and maintaining client site safety.

Must be professional and capable of rapid judgment in emergencies. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills are required.
• Must work independently and remain calm in stressful situations.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance are essential.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to perform long foot patrols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and enforce access control throughout shift.
• Perform front desk duties and badge creation for visitors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and suspicious activity.
• Prepare daily activity and incident reports.
• Patrol assigned properties to deter theft and vandalism.
