Job summary

Security Engineers, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for the 3rd shift in Burlington, NC. The role requires providing customer service, patrolling premises, and enforcing security procedures while maintaining a professional appearance.

Responsibilities include monitoring access points, reporting incidents, and responding to alarms. Benefits include medical, life, dental, and vision insurance; training is provided at state minimum wage where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Security experience preferred but not required.
• NC guard card preferred but not required.
• Must pass a drug test.
• This is a driving post. You must have a Valid Driver's License and good MVR.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First AED.
• Ability to work Weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, assisting and addressing the concerns of visitors and employees.
• Conduct regular walking patrols to improve the safety of individuals and proactively identify and report security concerns.
• Monitor facility access points, verify identifications and credentials to support a secure environment.
• Maintain logs documenting activities and incidents for reporting and analysis.
• Use a tablet to conduct security reports and basic computer tasks.
• Enforce security procedures in the Security Post Instruction.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies following established protocols.
• Maintain a professional appearance in a clean, pressed uniform.
