Job summary

SSC, Inc. is seeking Security Officers to protect client facilities, monitor for security concerns, and respond to incidents. You will patrol on foot or by vehicle, observe hazards, and communicate clearly with clients and coworkers to resolve situations.

This full-time, 3rd-shift position runs Sat, Sun, Wed, Thurs, Fri from 7pm to 3am at $21.00 per hour. Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED, be 18+, possess a state security officer license where applicable, be able to pass a drug screen,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 18 years of age or older.
• State Issued Security Officer License/Registration (where applicable).
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas by foot or vehicle.
• Observe for any conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Respond to emergency situations and/or alarms and contact appropriate emergency services based upon situation.
• Monitor for the presence of unauthorized persons.
• Maintain access control of premises and monitors entrances and exits.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
• Provide high level of customer service and assistance to clients, client employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
