Job summary

Conagra Brands in Louisville, KY is seeking a sanitation associate for overnight cleaning and basic janitorial duties. You will sanitize production areas, equipment, and facility spaces to meet safety and food safety standards, working on a 4-day schedule with three 12-hour overnight shifts and one weekday shift.

Responsibilities include helper disassembly/reassembly of equipment, proper use of chemicals and PPE, waste disposal, and reporting issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in sanitation, janitorial, or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation processes and food safety standards preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude to disassemble and reassemble equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime.
• Commitment to following all safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, sanitation, and basic janitorial duties across production areas, offices, and common spaces.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, floors, walls, and facility surfaces.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed for proper cleaning.
• Follow sanitation procedures, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Properly use cleaning chemicals, tools, and personal protective equipment.
• Remove waste, dispose of materials correctly, and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Inspect equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards.
• Document sanitation activities and report any issues to leadership.
• Support production teams by ensuring equipment and areas are ready for operation.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.
