Polar Beverages is seeking a Sanitation Operator for the night shift in Temple, TX to clean and sanitize production machinery, process equipment and facilities with strict adherence to health and safety standards.

The role requires following approved cleaning procedures, using safe chemicals, maintaining records, and supporting sanitation improvements with management and production teams. Weekend and off-production hour work is expected.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to read, write and keep records.
• Good computer skills including literacy with Excel and Word.
• Ability to work weekends and off-production hours.

Responsabilités

• Ensure that all cleaning schedules and tasks are completed on time and maintained according to company standard operating procedures.
• Use only appropriately approved chemicals safely to clean equipment
• Ensure that all cleaning and sanitization equipment is used correctly and only on designated areas.
• Cleaning work to encompass sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing machinery and filling equipment, cleaning of conveyors, warmers, surface areas and other areas deemed appropriate.
• Pest‑control procedures.
• Inspects premises for unsanitary practices and conditions.
• Work with management and production personnel on sanitation problems, and recommend changes in equipment, plant layout, lighting, ventilation, or work practices to improve sanitation standards and purity of product.
• Complete required paperwork and reports regarding regular inspections, sanitation violations, and steps taken to resolve deficiencies. Routes reports to designated plant personnel.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• The Sanitation Operator will follow the facilities food safety and food quality programs to assure compliance and achieve desired results.
