Immediate Need!
  • Eighteen (18) years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED
  • One (1) year of experience as a night sanitation and production supervisor
  • Experience or training in computer data entry, access, and retrieval
Preferred (not required):
  • Driver's license
Job Duties:
  • Operate and sanitize processing equipment in a food processing facility
  • Clean and sanitize parts and equipment
  • Organize parts by machine
  • Report food safety issues to management
  • Maintain records and documentation, updating forms as needed
  • Follow GMP, SQF, HACCP, BBP, and Food Defense policies
  • Follow SSOP for equipment cleaning
  • Provide training on hazardous chemicals during initial and ongoing training
  • Meet productivity goals, organize tasks, and manage time effectively
  • Work as part of a team with a positive attitude
  • Lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Employer Notes:
  • Experience with chemicals, leadership skills, and multitasking are preferred
  • Work in environmental conditions such as heat, cold, and wetness
  • Stand, walk, bend, crawl, and move throughout the shift
  • Willingness to be trained in chemical handling and to train others
  • Pre-employment drug test, background check, and physical exam required
  • Pay rate: $18 to $25 per hour, negotiable based on experience and qualifications
  • Benefits include medical, vision, dental, sick leave, and 401(k)
  • 90-day probationary period; benefits after probation
Hours:

Full-time, swing shift: Monday to Friday, 3 PM to 11 PM; overtime as needed.

Language skill requirement or preference:

Spanish speaking ability preferred; the workforce is mainly Spanish-speaking, aiding communication.
