Job summary

Gateway Rehab Center in Mount Pleasant, PA is seeking a dedicated full-time overnight Safety and Security Monitor to support an inpatient treatment program. You will monitor patient activity, complete safety rounds, document logs, support nursing staff, and help maintain a secure, therapeutic environment in coordination with clinical teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in chemical dependency or substance use disorder treatment preferred.
• Ability to pass Pennsylvania background checks and FBI fingerprinting clearances.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and a 2-step TB test.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient movement into and out of the facility.
• Maintain daily logs and documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of facility rules, regulations and policies.
• Conduct safety and security rounds throughout the building.
• Provide crisis management and patient de-escalation support.
• Assist nursing staff with searches and patient transfers as needed.
• Monitor medication and MAT lines to prevent diversion.
• Attend mandatory trainings and perform other duties as assigned.
