Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center in Texas is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide adult and neonatal care, including ventilator support, ABG analysis and respiratory therapies. The role operates on a 12X3 night shift, with Monday–Friday work and rotating weekends under department policy.

Requirements include a graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program, TX license, NBRC registration, BLS and ACLS, with NRP/PALS within 1 year. Experience of 6 months is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• PALS within 1 year of hire is preferred.
• Texas license as Respiratory Care Practitioner in good standing.
• Registered by NBRC.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapies and ventilator support.
• Perform ABG, PFTs, ECG and related diagnostics.
• Create treatment evaluations from assessments.
• Interpret CXR, ABG, and PFT data.
• Maintain and troubleshoot cardiopulmonary equipment.
• Uphold infection control and safety standards.
• Support patient care across age groups.
