Job summary

Medical City Plano is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse who coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care. In collaboration with providers, you will deliver pre-operative and post-operative nursing care and advocate for patients to support an exceptional experience.

You will assess patient condition at admission and during shifts, document care, administer medications, and maintain knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical procedures and equipment.

Qualifications

• RN license required in Texas or eligible for licensure.
• ACLS and BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• BSN preferred within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care in collaboration with medical providers.
• Document care in the patient record and administer prescribed medications.
