Job summary

Freeman Health is seeking a dedicated RN for the Cardiac Medical Unit (CMU) on the full-time night shift (36 hours/week). The CMU provides care for stroke and dialysis patients with a multidisciplinary team.

You will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care in alignment with the medical plan and patient needs. Requirements include Missouri RN license (or compact license in residence), ACLS/BLS, stroke-related certifications, CPI training, and annual competency review.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse License required.
• Compact state RN license acceptable if residing in compact state.
• ACLS Certification preferred; ACLS within 120 days.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days.
• ASLS - Advanced Stroke Life Support within 180 days.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification within 90 days.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training within 365 days.
• RN Competency documented annually by transcript.
• Stroke CEU hours: 8 per year, by transcript.

• Perform systematic and ongoing assessment of patient and family needs.
• Plan and implement interventions in collaboration with medical plan of care.
• Evaluate effectiveness and adjust plans in a timely manner to ensure safe, high-quality care.
