Job summary

Cook Children's Health Care System in Fort Worth, TX, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Transitional Care Unit on the third shift. The 26-bed unit cares for infants, children and teens with complex respiratory and neurological histories.

The RN will provide skilled nursing care, maintain clinical judgment, and support family-centered care. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Texas RN license, and BLS; PALS/NRP are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 2 years RN experience or successful completion of a Cook Children's Winter Plan contract.

Responsibilities

• Deliver competent and skilled nursing care to patients and families per the nursing process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team with an emphasis on evidence-based practice.
