Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Topeka, Kansas, is seeking a Night shift, full-time Post Partum/Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team.

You will coordinate safe patient care, assess patient/family needs, and revise care plans while adhering to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act. Requirements include ADN, KS RN licensure, BLS within 14 days, ACLS for Tele/ICU/PCU, oncology certification for post-surgery, and certifications completed within the first year.

Qualifications

• ADN required.
• Current Kansas RN licensure.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS required for Tele/ICU/PCU.
• Oncology certification required post-surgery.
• All certifications within first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safe patient care delivery for diverse patient populations.
• Assess patient/family needs, develop and prioritize goals, evaluate care and revise plan accordingly.
• Delegate care to other team members to optimize outcomes.
• Adhere to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
