Job summary

East Liverpool City Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide safe patient care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit during night shifts. The RN will use the nursing process and collaborate with physicians to monitor cardiac status and diagnostic results, guiding patient/family education.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN license with BLS and ACLS, with BSN preferred. Prior acute care and ventilator management experience are pluses, supporting high-quality care in a busy

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition, diagnostic results, and symptoms.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
