Mercy OKC is seeking a dedicated RN Lactation Consultant for the Night shift in the Memorial Rd Mother Baby unit. You will provide lactation support, educate families, and coordinate care for both inpatients and outpatients.

You will collaborate with obstetrics, nursing, and family resource teams, ensure discharge planning, and help new mothers achieve successful breastfeeding in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Certification as a Certified Lactation Consultant (CLC) must be obtained within two years of hire or transfer; BLS/Healthcare Provider required.

Responsabilités

• Provide lactation support, education, and assistance to mothers and families.
• Initiate and maintain regular contact with mothers during hospital stay to support breastfeeding.
• Coordinate with nursing and ancillary departments for optimal patient care and comfort; support post-discharge lactation services.
