Job summary

Andwell Health Partners in Lewiston, ME is seeking a dedicated RN to join our hospice team for night shifts (3:00pm–11:30pm). You will provide skilled nursing services to patients in their own homes under physician-directed plans of care, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in the community.

The role requires a current Maine RN license, CPR certification, and preferably one year of clinical nursing experience; ANA Home Health or Community Health nursing certification is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Current Maine RN license required.
• CPR card required.
• One year of recent clinical nursing experience preferred.
• ANA certification in Home Health or Community Health Nursing encouraged.
• A reliable car with insurance is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing services to the patient in their own home under the direction of a physician's plan of care.
• Develop plans of care with realistic/measurable outcomes in collaboration with the patient/family.
• Provide education and promote patient's rights and responsibilities for informed decision-making in the plan of care.
• Assess and identify the patient's holistic health care needs.
• Demonstrate competency in assessment and technical skills.
• Possess and utilize knowledge of pain control & symptom management.
