Job summary
Mission Hospital McDowell, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery unit. The role supports private LDRP suites and family-centered care, with 24/7 OB/GYN coverage and a culture focused on safety and compassionate, individualized patient experiences.

Qualifications
- Education: Associates Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- License: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON. RN must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider
- Experience: One year hospital nursing experience
Responsibilities
- Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients.
- Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
- Implements medically prescribed interventions.
