Job summary

Wellstar Health Systems, Inc. is seeking an RN Clinical Charge Nurse to direct unit activities on night shifts, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality, safe patient care.

You will lead rounds with physicians, manage bed flow, assignments, and care plans while promoting evidence-based practice and shared governance. The role requires Georgia RN licensure, BLS, and 1+ year of nursing experience with charge responsibilities; experience in relief charge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year nursing experience; relief charge experience preferred.
• RN license/certification as required by Georgia law.
• BLS certification must be current.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily unit activities on assigned shift.
• Oversee staffing, patient flow, and collaboration with physicians.
• Assign patients and manage bed flow and scheduling.
• Perform nursing process with evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.
• Round with physicians and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate documentation and interdisciplinary rounds.
