Job summary

UCHealth UCHlth Pkvw Pueblo West Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the PPW Nursing Unit on the night shift. This full-time, onsite role offers a competitive hourly pay and requires a valid RN license, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.

You will provide direct patient care in acute Med-Surg units, utilizing the nursing process to support safety and quality. Work schedule is 72 hours per pay period with night shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; RN licensure required.
• State RN licensure; BLS and any relevant life support certifications as determined at position level.
• At least 6 months of RN nursing experience.
• NIHSS within 6 months; NIHSS renewal annually.
• PALS Certification.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross; card valid through start date + 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in acute care Med-Surg units.
• Utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, high-quality care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Precept and mentor new staff in clinical practice.
